Brother Doyle has also been appointed by Grand Worthy President Bud Haigh to serve as the upcoming (and last) President of Eastern Canada Region, including the Ontario and Quebec Provincial Aeries, and will host the annual Eastern Canada Region Conference in Sault Ste Marie September 19 and 20, 2014. At the end of his term Eastern Canada Region will be dissolved, with the Quebec Provincial Aerie becoming part of New England Region (with Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine State Aeries) ; Ontario East (London Aerie 4060 and Toronto Aerie 2311) becoming part of Eastern Region (with Delaware, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Aeries); and Ontario West (Heyden-Goulais River Aerie 4269, Sault Ste Marie Aerie 3991 and Webbwood Aerie 4061) becoming part of Great Lakes Region (with Aeries in northern Michigan and Wisconsin State Aerie).

The Don Rettinger Trophy is awarded annually by the Ontario Provincial Aerie. It is named for the late Don Rettinger, long-serving Secretary of Toronto Aerie 2311, New York State Aerie officer (including terms as State President and State Secretary), and President of Eastern Region. Brother Rettinger is one of three Ontario members of the Grand Aerie Eagles Hall of Fame.
